If it's a july filler then there is a chance of getting rejected because it reached there on June 30.

Guys,
Just wanted to give you an update on my FP notice. Finally I got FP notice today schedule for 01/29/08. I guess Infopass appointment works. I had infopass appointment on 21st of Dec 2007 and IO told me I should expect FP within 3 weeks . I guess USCIS has started working after a long break. Hang on guys.

Do you know which option you selected when you had scheduled the infopass? Also, what documents did you carry at the infopass?

OK Thanks. And any recent LUD on 485 and already approved EAD (such as 08/21/2010 as most of us got)? Just trying to derive some pattern here...

Got email from my lawyer that my Receipt Notices were already received by his office.
My application for I-140/485/EAD was sent on July 30 and received on July 31. I checked it online and it says "On September 6, we received your....".
I filed in NSC and I received LIN numbers.
I will support the rally; it is just I really cannot come due to personal reasons. I already called some of my friends and some are joining the rally. I also sent some e-mail to the office of the Governor of California, to our congressman, and Senator.
I am sending some mails to the media.

Get on with sweet talks with him, do whatever he tells u to do (like sign a contract, pay ur GC cost etc). After filing u have an option to change the employer after 6 months and then no employment bond works. He will just ask for money when ur leaving him and if he doesnt give ur salary, talk to him polietly and mention the words 'Dept of Labor' in your conversation.
BTW, I got my wife salary from her employer and one of my friend was also 'bonded' ..got rid of his employer too ...using those words.
My employer is desi consultant too and is very good in such matters, quite helpful. I would recommend him to anyone. Most desi consultants are blood suckers but not all.

The so called Bond is actually "Employment Agreement" and it very well could be valid. Please check some cases in PA State for such Employment Cases and you may be surprised. This is not to suggest that every agreement is valid. Depends on the agreement wordings and the State Law.

Thanks.. All of our checks were sent by lawyer and they were not telling me any thing. When I asked them repeatedly, they just said checks have not been cashed and our dear USCIS refused to give any update, as it has not been 90 days. I am still waiting for FP notice or receipt for my I485/I131 and receipt for I485/I131/I765 of my wife.

Current Status: Card production ordered.

I came to us on H4 in 2007 and the got my H1B in 2008. I am not getting a job on H1 yet so i want to know that till when the H1B be valid as I am not genarating any salery and my consultant is not running my pay roll ?

I'm so thrilled that this happened ... I actually expected this to happen ........ Not sure why they didnt simply make it U .... Hopefully will spur all the EB2 folks to do something rather than thinking that the problem is only for unfortunate EB3 filers :)

Feeling depressed does not help you, your family, your employer or your gc process.

Do something positive about your GC process instead of sitting and saying that it will be years before you get the GC.

What are the steps to be taken after receiving GC ?
You have to update your SSN ( Go to your near by SSN office they will guide you)
